Ahhh.... bright warm sunny day today... funny how good weather can lift your spirits just a tad.

Something I missed during the winter: driving with the window down and music blasting on a nice sunny day... gotta love it.

Actually got up at a decent hour this morning to get started on my workload early. Went to school for SPSS lab and class, then had my Entrepreneurship class group meeting. The entrepreneurship final group project has been interesting to say the least... when we started, I initially proposed my idea to everyone and they agreed so I ran with it. My entrepreneurship idea? "B.T" - Bottled Bubble Tea. Hey, surprisingly, there isn't any on the market yet! Now we're well underway and quoting prices for shipping, equipment, personnel, materials, doing financial analyses, marketing strategies, etc... kinda interesting... there's a lot of background work required to start up a business apparently... Oh, and it's kinda neat 'cause I guess everything I learned in Management has come in handy since everyone's calling me the "CEO" of the company, making the decisions, delegating, and directing the group and the "company". Well... could also be because my team consists of mostly engineers... but still! Kinda neat. I guess I've got some management material in me... hope that'll pan out in the real working world. :P

Got home and just had to do something, anything, outside! So I put up a new net and shot some hoops in the driveway for about half an hour. Twas nice to get outside and do some physical activity after "hibernating" all winter. :P I've vowed to get my basketball game back in form and myself back in shape this summer... dunno if it'll happen but I definitely missed playing b-ball. Oh, and as I was shooting around, one of my neighbour's kids, about 2 or 3 years old, was watching me intently. Twas so cute... played with him a bit, rolling the ball back and forth and dribbling around him... and he seemed to enjoy bouncing the ball a lot! Come to think of it, I remember my nextdoor neighbour's kids, when they were younger, always watching me as well and hopping over to play with the ball and try to shoot at the hoop and such. Heheh... such cute kids...puts a smile on my face. :)

Ah yes, and as I was doing data entry for our market research project, mindlessly entering survey results, a song on my shuffling playlist hit me for some reason... Mark Schultz's "The Time of My Life" was playing and dunno why but it just hit me with emotion... played it over a few times and looked up the lyrics... it's an older song, but a gorgeous piano ballad, written by Schultz for a friend's wedding and it's about unfailing love... wonder if I'll play that at my wedding someday... heheh... or perhaps SCC's "I Will Be Here"... or Smitty's "Love of My Life"... hrm.... meh... *sigh* :P

Oh, and past Sunday, Paul Racine came to Celebration to speak! Good to see the guy again, very nice man and I haven't seen him since the university fellowship bbq at my place. I'm already starting to think about planning the Easter Sunday service... they liked my idea of having an intimate, candle-lit service with an acoustic worship set peppered with scripture readings, prayer, communion, short video, and a short message. I'm excited about it! Oh, and Serena and I will be performing the song "Why" by Nichole Nordeman... gorgeous song... with a tough-as-nails piano part that I'm trying to replicate offa chords! grrr... hopefully I'll get it in time 'cause she's carrying the vocals really well. It's gonna be absolutely lovely if we pull it off.

Alrighty... back to work... got entrepreneurship report to write up, services marketing audit report to write up, as well as geography report to write up... all due within a week or so... good thing I've had a cup of coffee... and working on my second. :P *hoot*
