Woohoo... I am now mobile. My family recently purchased a laptop, which I am allowed to use at school now. Quite convenient, if a little bulky to carry around.
School's begun, so it's gonna get busy soon... but luckily, I'm actually enjoying some of the courses, particularly the ones on e-business and digital marketing... quite interesting. Hope to spend more time on campus, now that I can do most of my work there.
Had a great worship team practise last night... I'm helping out with leading worship at Celebration Church this Sunday and therefore, had a small worship team practise at Serena's house with the small team they have going. I don't know if it's God's calling or not... but I immediately clicked with the members of their small worship team... I can tell they're all worshippers and I remember the Celebration Church congregation had good worshippers there too when I last visited. I'm definitely excited about Sunday and hope to help lead there more often. I'm hoping I can eventually bring a full worship team to Celebration to give them a treat... they definitely deserve it. They are small but they are very blessed and are guided by God... great followers of Christ. It's been tough to find inspiration in my worship leading at EACO... I guess ya sometimes fall into a rut and lose the zeal for it after doing it week in week out for who knows how long... but with 7:22 services back online, enthusiasm from worship team members like Anthony, and breathers like leading at Celebration... I'll hopefully rediscover my inspiration for worship-leading. ...or maybe it could be just me... maybe I just need to focus more on Him and His guiding... read His word and study his teachings... spend time with God and meditate... maybe that inspiration was dependant on my relationship with God... I will definitely hafta work on that.
My own university fellowship is starting this Sunday as well... hope that goes well. Pastor Wood, our new English pastor, will be leading it and I hope he clicks with the rest of us. Potluck at Bonnie's tonight with the CCCO university fellowship... should be fun. :)
Still trying to wrap my mind around the fact that by this time next year, I'll be out of school and hopefully working. I'm really glad that things worked out in the end, regarding my registration and stuff. For a while there, I wasn't sure if I'd be able to get any type of useful degree... gladly, I was able to enter into this B. Com. honours program w/ option in Marketing after completing my summer course. Hope I'll find a job related to it... marketing definitely interests me, as does M.I.S.... but still don't quite know what I'm good at yet.
